Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have used ELTA BLOCK and ELTA LITE for over 20 years, because everything else would burn my face. My grand daughters use to cry when you even got near them with sunscreen. I told my son that it must be burning them. They only use Elta for last 18 years. Now the same product is now MD ELTA. My dermatologist started selling it about 2 years ago. I told her I used the same Thing from the same company for half the price. She the Dr started ordering The one I use. But now they have discontinued the older one and MD ELTA is twice the price. We now as a family cannot afford to use it anymore which is sad as we live in Florida.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sheer Delight This zinc sunscreen is so silky and invisible on my skin I can hardly believe it! I'm not even aware I'm wearing it but I'm sure those wicked aging UV rays know because this is SPF 45. I didn't know sunscreens could be so beautiful and wish I had started wearing it daily a long time ago. This has made a sunscreen convert out of me! And the price is fabulous for a really quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite sunscreen I've tried dozens of sunscreens from Europe, Asia and the US. This one is great. Ingredients and level of protection are fantastic. This goes on mostly sheer; the white cast is minimal and it isn't greasy. I also love that you can buy it in a 3 oz or 7 oz container.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I had read that all the top dermatologists recommended Elta MD. I wanted something with closer to 50 SPF for my face because of all the sun damage I have accrued over the years. The SPF 45 was fine and I chose this particular one over some others because it has a very slight facial tint almost like a tinted moisturizer. It does not leave any white cast which is what I was afraid of when going for the tint. Light as air this is never greasy or heavy feeling and does not even come close to clogging my pores which is huge! Highly recommended it’s a little pricey but you only need a bit each time for your face.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I love this brand, and decided to experiment with each different product. I felt this product did not protect my skin from the sun. I did not apply as you would say “a liberal amount” of product, but enough where it should have offered protection. I decided not to repurchase, and stick to the Elta 30, and the physical tinted 44. I used the remaining product on my hands. I find it was more effective for my hands it’s possible there was an issue with the product absorbing onto my face. Nevertheless, it’s a bit too expensive to use only on my hands, so again I would not re-purchase this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the gold standard of face sunscreens for me. It is also so affordable and goes a long way. I apply daily to my face and neck, and a tube lasts me about six months. I have normal/dry sensitive skin that doesn’t tolerate sunscreens well- anything else I’ve tried has either caused redness, exacerbated my dryness because it irritated my skin, pilled under makeup, or was intolerably greasy. This goes on smoothly, the finish is almost satiny, and I get zero white cast (I have a light/medium neutral skin tone). This is a physical sunscreen rather than a chemical one, which is important for me, especially because chemical sunscreens aren’t as effective if you have melasma, hyperpigmentation, or dark spots (per my dermatologist).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I only used this product once after going out with and friends and forgetting my one sunscreen. I know that this is a sunscreen that comes highly recommended by dermatologists, so I trust that it’s ingredients are great for your skin health and that it does protect your skin. I personally though could not rub away the white cast that this left on my face (my skin is a medium brown, I attached a photo of my hand for reference) and unfortunately that will cause me not to purchase my own bottle. But my sensitive skin did not react badly and there was not a strong scent. The product was thick and creamy and felt good on my face (minus the white cast). I would purchase other sunscreen products from EltaMD to try to find one that does not leave that white cast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can’t recommend this sunscreen highly enough. The texture is smooth and dries down to a matte finish without being too drying. It’s invisible, it never breaks me out, and it wears well under makeup, which is the biggest reason why I’ll continue to buy this product again and again. I’ve also found the protection to be unbeatable, which is important for me since I have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Although I briefly strayed into the world of all-natural sunscreen, I am so happy to be back to eltamd.
