Rated 5 out of 5 by from MY NEW FAVORITE! I have been using EltaMD products for years. I love, love, love this new all Physical sunscreen. I had this on today and forgot I put anything on in the morning. I don't like to wear foundation so this product was perfect for me. Plus it will last long since you really only need 1/2 pump if you have a small face. Using the correct amount for your face size will make it blend in correctly and slightly enhance your natural skin tone. I am a natural redhead so I am pale. All of the EltaMD tinted products appear to enhance your natural color. I have also used UV Daily Tinted, and that product looks good on me too. The hyaluronic acid, along with vitamin C, and E, in UV Elements and UV Daily Tinted is an added plus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PLEASE make this in a lighter shade or un-tinted! Love the texture and the feel of this and the effects of hyaluronic acid, but on my very fair complexion this looks orange and "dirty." It seems to oxidize after application and I cannot wear it on its own, but have to blend it with a very light shade of bb cream to make it work, and even then it's slightly orange. PLEASE make this in a lighter shade or make an un-tinted version for those of us who love Elta MD sunscreens!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Medium Skin Tone I have tried many physical sunscreens, and the only problem I have is "White Cast". I have Asian medium skin tone (3N1 Double Wear EL) and many physical sunscreens leave me unacceptable white cast. This is the one I've been hunting for years. It gives me NO WHITE CAST and I don't minimize the amount, I use around 3-4 pumps for my whole face which is around 1/4 teaspoon; yet no white cast! I tried UV Physical 41 before it still leaves me white cast, but this one is perfection. I can understand that for fair skin it could be too dark, but for medium to deep skin tone is awesome! Please Elta MD, don't you ever change this formula or the tint. Make the untinted for the fair skin folks but keeps this one as it is for medium-deep folks. It is quite moisturizing but not over glowy. I've used glowy sunscreen before and it was sticky and too glowy, I hate that my hair got stuck on my face (Hate It!). But this one is acceptable glowy and not sticky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I only use purely physical formulations. I had been using UV Physical 41 for years, so I was anxious to try Elements. I'm Asian-American and find that Elements matches my skin tone better. I really like the feel of the product. A lot of physical formulations leave a residue or are difficult to spread, but that isn't the case with Elements at all. I also like the added benefit of hyaluronic acid since I do need extra moisture most days. No complaints with this product at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a physical sunscreen that African American I have bren trying to get a physical sunscreen that blacks can use but to no avail, this tint blends beautiful for those light skin African Americans and leaves a dewy finish not chalky or white as most tinted ones do on us. Only thing is I hope elta md formulated one like this for dark skin African Americans. I wish I was a chemist so I make one and make millions yes there is a market as we become aware that we need sunscreen too as per my doctors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Formula But Want Untinted I've used many, many different sunscreens, sunscreen brands and have been using Elta for the past few years. I like their UV daily but find it makes my skin a bit too shiny/oily. The new element formula is by far, my FAVORITE Elta formulation. After absorption, the finish is more matte and doesn't get as greasy, it hardly pills, much less than their moisture/SPF formulas so I LOVE it if not for it being... tinted. I am fair skinned and while I think tan skin looks nice, I am never tan. The tint is much darker than my natural skin color and looks clownish if I don't slather Elements all the way from forehead to my collar bone or any exposed skin. It transfers to my clothes and it just makes no sense for Elta not to have an UNTINTED version or at least a version with a fairer toned tint. The new formula feels great, sits well on the skin and I am so disappointed that we are not given the option of tint-free.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tinto is way too yellow! This is a nice formula, but the tint is not "universal", it was far too dark and extremely yellow, no amount of blending could make it look ok. The tint on EltaMD's spf 41 is more neutral, I wish the color on the 44 was closer to that one. Sadly, as a pale, cool skintoned person who desperately needs to use a good sunscreen, this product seems to be for someone who is already tan!
